The Job Services of UNIAGRO France

Programmes for students and young graduates

A good example of the support given by the Job Services of UNIAGRO may be found in the UNIAGRO Mail (Access on the UNIAGRO Web site, click on UNIAGRO, click on Publications, click on UNIAGRO Mail, (of course it is in French).

In a recent publication, a first article describes the Employment forums and “employment days” organised for young graduates and students by Agronomy schools, by students in some cases, companies or even administrations. The Job Services events of UNIAGRO are organised on an going basis and take place on a rotational basis in various locations in France e.g. Rennes, Toulouse etc.

A second article gives advices on the use of company databases, how to obtain company information and employment opportunities. The Job Service offers help directly on request.
This information is followed by Employment statistics and the evolution of job offers.

A third article offers the possibility to introduce on the site an anonymous mini CV accessible by companies as a first in identification of potential candidates for filling of vacancies.

The agenda of the Job Service also presents fore coming events e.g. informal Tuesday meetings, permanent regional offices events, circulars etc.
Other services available include the possibility of meetings and interviews with special advisers from UNIAGRO on careers in different places in France, coaching for more senior agronomists, meetings with representatives involved in different activities in the sector e.g. Research and development, Career Management, The Food Industry, Rural development, etc
